if pearl were to shapeshift into rose and fuse with amethyst you’d probably get a weirdly-colored smoky quartz
or u would get Opal shapeshifted as Smoky Quartz, tho like, Rebecca Sugar said many times Fusions make up their names
Smoky and Rainbow were NEVER real Quartzes.
That’s true. If Garnet can shapeshift, then I’m sure other fusions can. I guess the “Quartz” in their names was just a cover-up name since it’s a DIAMOND fusing with the other Gems.
