So these are Steven Universe backgrounds from an editor’s wall. Most of these shots, outside of Empire City, Mask Island, and the inside of the Temple, are new. So what do you think is going to happen in these places? I’m especially curious about the giant thing that looks like a Wailing Stone.

Why I think Jasper’s Gem is cracked.
Besides the obvious fact that we never see Jasper’s face at any point of the episode, there’s the scene where Jasper and Lapis are falling after unfusing from Malachite. There are odd, bright streams coming from Jasper as she falls. As she’s falling face-up, that could be light escaping from her Gem after it got cracked.
We never saw if that happened to Amethyst, because she fell face-down when it happened to her. We also don’t see this effect anywhere on Lapis.
I think that the force of Malachite’s explosion could have cracked Jasper’s Gem, even if it’s just a little.
Why is one of them still happy.
