Rose was the  leader of The Diamonds

cleavcher

Rose was the leader of The Diamonds.

Why? Because as Peridot said, “I won! I’m the natural leader here!” you might say this is because of the rules of the game, but I think otherwise. She didn’t know why the Crystal Gems were praising Pearl at ALL. This is likely because that’s the way Homeworld works. The strongest gem is the ‘alpha dog’ so to speak.

Now, why do I think that Rose was the leader? Rose was, without a doubt, the strongest diamond. You can look more into the Pink Diamond theory but I personally think that it’s a no brainer that Rose is Pink Diamond. She chased all other gems off earth but her own, including all of the other diamonds if she did not kill them.

I do think that Blue Diamond is undoubtedly the Lighthouse Gem and White Diamond is probably the Pyramid Temple Gem, and if this is true, this means Rose fought and defeated 2 out of the other 3 diamonds besides herself.

Another thing is that Yellow Diamond did not come to Earth even when Lapis and Peridot both said they didn’t see Rose. Why wouldn’t she have come? Because she’s afraid. She’s afraid that Rose will poof and she’ll suffer a fate just like the others. Afraid that Rose is hiding somewhere on Earth waiting for her to return so Rose can finish her off.

Rose destroyed the other diamonds. She destroyed two of them and probably severely injured the other. Her strength made her the leader and the superior of all of them. Rose also probably fought The Diamonds one-on-one, with the way she’s fighting Blue in the mural. Also, Yellow has no arms in the mural. I wonder why that is? Could Rose possibly have cut her arms off and she escaped, critically injured and barely escaping being poofed?

How Peridot acted in Back to the Barn

Honestly, she was a dick, yeah, but think about it. Her character in general is quite immature and she only viewed herself as vastly superior to Pearl because of what she was taught. Pearls are normally meant to just be servants, therefore Peridot treated her as such. She felt POWER over Pearl, thinking that she would listen to what Peridot’s saying (hence her clapping to get her to leave). She always gets a boost of adrenaline with any sort of power she seems to have (slapping Steven is an example).

Pearl definitely wasn’t at fault, but Peridot really isn’t either. I mean, she’s still getting a grip on how the hell Earth works. She did start a major conflict, but she at least got what she deserved for doing so, and even then, the issue got resolved.

This really scares me because we know how good this show is at foreshadowing and all I can think is ‘why are Steven’s clothes in the wilderness and not on the temple? why are they not at home?’

one of the final episodes is called ‘Last one out of beach city’????

what if the crystal gems lose and they have to run from the temple???

I was thinking it was because they’re still on the barn, and the next few episodes (Too Far, Gem Drill, Barn Buddies, etc.) will also have a major focus on the barn.
