While I don’t think it ruined the series, it’s still a pretty big reveal. They seem to be completely content with Steven during the clip. On top of that, BISMUTH is there with a totally different design. She doesn’t show any signs of anger around the Diamonds, either.
Another thing to note is that Steven’s house and the temple are partially destroyed.

I wish Rebecca would say something about the leaks because those clips really did spoil a LOT in the span of a few minutes.
