Ian Jones-Quartey’s animated series, OK K.O: Let’s Be Heroes, was greenlit along with Ben Levin and Matt Burnett’s new animated series, Craig of the Creek, being greenlit as well. None of them are working with the Crewniverse any longer, but of course, I wish them luck with their new shows!

Let’s talk about the placement.
Clearly, it wasn’t meant to air that far into Season 4.
Remember that huge list of titles from Seasons 2-4 that show everything from mid-Season 2 all the way to Last One Out of Beach City? And then this?
It was meant to air after Gem Harvest, which actually makes a LOT MORE SENSE than what they did with the episode. It was shortly after Jasper was poofed and the Smoky Quartz arc ended. I have absolutely no idea why they decided to postpone the episode until after StevenBomb 5. And even worse, they didn’t air Tiger Philanthropist until after THREE MORE EPISODES.
No wonder the whole “Amethyst feeling better about herself” thing felt so weird to bring up at this point in the show. The impact that this episode could have originally had just isn’t there anymore.
They never have her interact with Garnet, Amethyst, or Pearl anymore. We’ve seen a lot of interaction between Peridot and the CGs, but Lapis hasn’t gotten this treatment outside of Steven himself.

I mean, she did come to the realization that Steven isn’t Rose after taking a sword through the stomach and I think Steven would be able to reason with her now because of that, despite her hatred for the Diamonds and non-CG Gems.

Filler or not, it was one of the funniest episodes in the series.
No idea. Zap2it doesn’t have Lion 4 listed for next week and Lion 4 isn’t on Cartoon Network’s site at all. CN does a pretty poor job with its schedule, so we’ll just have to wait and see. We’ll know for sure by Monday.

That’s the awful thing. It’s a new show and it’s airing way more than SU has in like, four months.
Even though she’s still suffering from past experiences, it’s nice to see her laugh and try her hardest to get over them. Lauren and Raven did a great job portraying her emotions in this episode. It’s something I’ve missed from Lapis for a while.
Also, Jennifer Paz’s deliveries of Lapis’ lines were GREAT.

Yeah, I’m sorry about that. Lapis probably didn’t fly though solely because she was too angry about what was going on in the scene. That, or it’s just one of those “Garnet could easily stretch her arms to grab Peridot, but didn’t” moments for the sake of plot progression.
I’ll be more considerate next time. Sorry if I offended anyone. PTSD isn’t something that should be taken lightly. I won’t do something like that again.

Seems like there’s a lot of customization and lots of characters to use, too. It’s great to see the series get a game like this.
She draws my favorite Amethyst and Lapis out of the entire Crewniverse.
While Kat Morris was livestreaming on Cartoon Network’s Facebook, she said “Yellow’s helmet” a few times while talking about her. She said in a later post that it was just an accident and that during Message Received, she commonly referred to Yellow’s hair as a helmet. It’s possible that she might have accidentally revealed that Yellow’s been wearing a helmet this whole time, though. It’d match up with the mural in Serious Steven where Yellow Diamond (I’m guessing it’s her, at least) has a ton of messy hair on the far right near the Sun.
So really, we don’t know for sure if Yellow’s wearing a helmet or if that’s actually hair. It certainly looks like a helmet in some shots, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

i still miss her damn it
Like, her shade of blue is mainly darker in the older episodes because we see her in darker areas, right? Starting with Barn Mates and Hit the Diamond, we’ve been seeing her in broad daylight much more often, which makes her blue color seem a lot brighter. I don’t really see the problem? I mean, I like her darker shade of blue too, but I think that she’s just always meant to be a lighter shade. That, or I’m just not paying much attention.

It depends. I don’t think Steven would attempt to heal Jasper right now, especially since he couldn’t even fully do it with Centipeetle. I think we might see her in her corrupted state near the end of Season 4 (but not healed) or we’ll see her during Season 5.

What’s important is that this is the end of the reign of a leak from nearly 2 years ago. A leaked list of episodes, which Tiger Philanthropist was the last of. From now on, we’re totally blind.
I think something that’s interesting about this episode’s placement in particular is that it just fits way better during a time like this where Amethyst is much more confident in herself. She fought Jasper again, she met the Famethyst, and she knows that she’s actually worth something now. It’s a great way to wrap up Amethyst’s “self-confidence arc”, I’d say.

I can understand how a very vocal fandom or one known for problems can give a person a worse viewpoint of whatever media they’re into, but really, not everyone in the fanbase is going to be like that. It’s just that people are way more focused on seeing the “bad” parts of a fanbase rather than the “good” parts.
Of course the controversies are going to be talked about more. I never really understood the concept of hating something solely for its fanbase. I can understand getting annoyed by it, but not hating it SOLELY from them. I can still enjoy Steven Universe and even Undertale despite all the “negativity” surrounding the fanbases. The actual content has nothing to do with the fanbase itself. That’s just my opinion, though.
