After rewatching Island Adventure, I had this thought. Do you think that Mask Island was Pink Diamond’s original attempt at making a Zoo?
The Zoo, from what we’ve seen, looks awfully similar to Mask Island. What reason would Mask Island have to exist for Gems anyway? Gems on Earth already had giant structures that were havens to them, such as the Lunar Sea Spire.
The other huge thing that made me think the island was originally a prototype for the Zoo is the only Gem we know of that was found there.
Was this a Gem that originally monitored the Island in case something went wrong with the humans, such as one trying to escape? If she had invisibility powers PRIOR to the Song of the Diamonds, it would make a lot of sense.
The lack of a proper exit (outside of a nice, long swim) and probably even forgetting the island in general could be a reason why this Gem was still there.
I think the only time an episode has ever looked “bad” to me was Crack the Whip, and that was from the pupils primarily.

It was a post that took a week to be uploaded from my phone about the CN leaks. I have no idea why it only got posted now.
Don’t be sorry for that. I did have “su spoilers” as a tag. Is there no way to blacklist tags on mobile or something?
It turned the Crystal Gems into this.
Since the other options were for Rubies, Quartzes, and even the Diamonds, what do you think this option was for? I’m not sure myself, and I don’t even know why you’d need Gems that small, but I think they turned into these when they failed to escape Earth in time.
The Crewniverse is handling it really well. Matt Burnett came back to Twitter and said that he was really happy that people enjoyed the episodes while Michaela Dietz (Amethyst’s voice actress) simply joked about the leaks. I mean, it’s sad that the episodes were accidentally released early, of course, but at least they were streamed on Cartoon Network’s actual site. Despite all of the leaks and accidental posts from Cartoon Network, the Crewniverse still happily does their job to make the fans themselves happy, and I love that about them.

Yeah, I don’t want people to 100% think that picture is real, but it does indeed look like their storyboarding.
What happened with Lauren Zuke this time.
The servers post the images and clip a few days before the airing of the episode. The pictures I’ve been showing aren’t very spoiler-heavy either. Of course I respect the Crewniverse. I watch many of the new episodes the day they air and I buy SU merchandise, which gives them more funds for the show. A few screenshots aren’t going to stop somebody from watching an entire episode. If anything, these small clips and screenshots can get people more excited for the upcoming episodes. I apologize if these leaks are angering anybody, but you can just not look at the blog.
