I’m thinking that Yellow Diamond might use the Cluster as a power source. What if she were to fuse herself with the Cluster to become a super powerful being and easily take over Earth and other planets for more Gem population?
That outfit in the comedy skit dream REALLY reminds me of the first design for Pearl. I just found it cute.

We’re all in agreement this is Blue Diamond, right?

it was put up on the us version of itunes by Cartoon Network for 2.99$ bundled along with keeping it together. it was not uploaded by someone working on the show or at a cable network or accidentally shown in a different timeslot or something. it was legally released and is available for purchase.
Well, to be honest, it probably wasn’t intentional, or at least meant to be sold after the airing of it, as this didn’t happen with any of the other episodes.
Please watch the actual airing of it. Gotta support the Crewniverse!
damn rainbow quartz got a booty
I don’t want to scroll down and risk spoilers.
Look at this still frame of Garnet here.

When sending the bubbled failed fusion away, they morph into one singular Gem, which looks a lot like a Gem we’ve seen before.

Centipeetle’s a corrupted Gem and has a very similar Gem to the failed fusion from today’s episode.

It’s possible that corrupted Gems may actually be failed fusions that have reformed. Every Gem Monster that we’ve seen had a very uniquely-shaped Gem. Maybe some corrupted Gems are more stable than others depending on how many actual Gems are in the fusion itself (like Big Bird being comprised of a bunch of shards and relentlessly attacking while Centipeetle was understanding of Steven’s feelings).
The more the Gems within the fusion oppose each other, the more monstrous the final creature is, as shown here.

This is just a theory, but this could mean that either corruption comes from something related to fusion or that Centipeetle suffered a similar fate to the beast shown today.
Goddamn, I love this show.
So wait, was that slamming noise at the end of On the Run supposed to be those mutated Gem pieces trying to break out?
Jesus fucking Christ.
Rising Tides/Crashing Skies wasn’t bad. It’s nice to see an episode focused on a character that we know isn’t going to be majorly important (at least not right now). Lets us get a better feel for said character.
Not to mention, not EVERY Steven Universe episode has to be plot-centric. We’re definitely getting that tomorrow anyway. It’s just nice to see more Ronaldo, who I think is shaping up to be a pretty damn funny character.
I hear talk about how Lapis is supposedly the most selfish bitch ever because she wants to be free and tried drowning Steven and Connie when approached, but.. I’m pretty sure that was just means of self defense and a reaction from fear. I mean, she was trapped for a REALLY damn long time.
It was wrong, definitely, but I would not say she’s selfish. Not in the slightest. I mean, Jailbreak as a whole flat-out proves that she cared for Steven’s well-being. She trapped herself AGAIN just to stop Jasper. If that’s not a sign of actually caring about someone else, then I don’t know what is.
